Was that named after Russ Potts?

Where'd you get that information?

My son. That's probably about right for that surgery. I had the same thing but with less screws and it took about a year or a little less to totally heal.

Ok thanks for the info. I wasn't intending to be rude, but I would just rather not rely on hearsay. That prevents situations like the one before where people were bad-mouthing a new recruit that had reportedly hated SMU and was transferring to UH, and it turned out that he had to take care of some business at home before reporting to campus.

No problem. My son is a freshman and on the o-line. I asked him about the injury earlier today and this is what was told to him. As far as I know it should be correct.

We're very fortunate to have your son as a Mustang. Thanks in advance for four (five) great years.

Thank you. I'm very proud of him and of his choice in universities. I'm very thankful he is staying close to home. He has also converted the rest of my family in South Texas to Mustang Fans. My brother has met the coaches and seen the facilities and told me he's never met a nicer group of people and he is proud his nephew is going to SMU.

I stand corrected. Just talked to my son, again. Kyle is having surgery on Monday. My son was told he'd already had it, then later found out otherwise. Regardless, Kyle will be missed this year. I wish him a speedy recovery and rehab.
