Goal Line Props vs. UNT

Postby smupony » Tue Sep 11, 2007 2:14 pm

Didn't see it posted. Major props to Bennett, Burns, the O-line and Martin for getting the ball over the goal line when we needed it at the end of the first half.

Sure wish we had that last year.

If we had not scored there, Ponyfans would have been dominated with headlines on how bad our goalline play calling is. I don't think Bennett would have made that call last year. We all know he is playing for his job.

Good point -- not only was it nice to see how high off the ground Martin got, but it was nice to see such a gaping hole on the left side. Not sure if it was Poynter or Lobo or Enright (combination of the above, of course), but he probably could have just stepped over the bodies and walked in. Much-improved short yardage performance by the offensive line.

I think it was over the right side. I guess that would be Peveto and Enright (maybe a splash of Burley). Good to see though.
