I agree. A legitimate coach would have the athletes we have winning on a consistent basis. Our team seems to be unprepared on a regular basis.

fine, but this is the same thing we heard with cavan, and rossley and every coach who gets fired. if we only had a coach, this one is mean, or cant relate to players blah blah blah. great. we havent gotten one yet. who is the next D coordinator we take a flyer on?

My two cents, take it or leave it.

I don't think SMU was unprepared in game prep sense. I think the lack of prep was months ago in the weight room and conditioning.

When you had the rally going ASU just dared you stop the run and lost that battle then when you got enough hosses in to stop the run we passed.

Your secondary has some good speed they've got to feel like they are getting swarmed.

well the new coach would probably want his own QB anyways ...............and if that player is a certain QB.....his timely fumble did not help the outcome of the game tonight.........

Yeah, Cave-in did bench Flanigan didn't he.

I gave you guys my compliments on our "General Board" by mistake and and am too lazy to retype it over here. Please go to our general board to see my comments and accept my humble congrats on a game well played and deserved win.

He makes a good point. SMU physically does not look anything like a Division 1A team especially on defense. 205 pound LBs, 5-11 walkon Linebackers-several- 5-9 safeties. A pup at DE who is at least a year away. 225 pound DEs-several. 6-0 Defensive Linemen. I could go on and on. Suffice to say that at least 8-9 of our regular players on defense are regularly physically overmatched. This becomes painfully obvious if you watch a lot of college football.
