somebody going to guarantee a mustang win this weekend? yeah right. But seriously, does it make you guys feel better to post childish frustration on this message board thereby essentially establishing our coach as a lame duck after 3 games? I know this is what message boards all over america do (Michigan, Notre Dame, you name it), but just wondering at a small school like ours what good you guys think this does other than make you feel better. Write a scathing email or letter to the admin, much more effective and not as counterproductive. I'm not going to post opinion about a mans livelihood on a message board, but i guess thats just me. I really hope Phil wins this weekend just for the sport of watching this board in action.

If morstead did it although the best player per position on the team, it would be a joke

I assume you mean act like a captain. And I take issue with your comment here. Real mean and real leaders lead by example. Muse, Willis, and Morstead are certainly leading in their performance and effort. I have not focused enough on Poyntor specifically to critique his performance but I am certain he is busting his butt on the field for the ponies.

Who said any of this has to do any good? Its a message board. No one here thinks they are enacting some sort of change, they are just venting to and with the other small percentage of people that share the same pathetic common interest- SMU Athletics.

I can't help but root for us to win this weekend just bc I love SMU and our program (even if it would give more credibility to a coaching staff I do not at all believe in).

Good question.... I looked through the rost, and the only player we have who's name even rhymes with Hart is Justin Smart.... so I kept searching.
