Watching the UT/OU game today they splashed a stat that around 84 of the OU players came from the state of Texas. This made me think about Phil's philosophy on recruiting mainly from within a 150-300 mile radius.
If we could have our pick (or even 2nd, 3rd, or 4th), I agree you could put together a pretty impressive team. But, obviously the rest of the country knows about Texas HS football as well, so our competition is pretty high. It seems to me, that we need to put more emphasis on other areas.

You are correct. And Bradford is the only Okie player that starts on offense for them.
