We ran it in high school and it worked. But the best play for us, mainly because our quaterback was the best player on the team, was him walking to the sideline to try and ask the coach what the play was and the running back yelling his name as the signal to snap the ball and him taking off for a hail mary. We were so bad at that point that our coach would try any trick play. I think we even had "The Annexation of Puerto Rico" in our playbook.
