NO. We would do better with cardboard cutouts on the SIDELINE.

How the ^&*$ are penalties and turnovers the coaches' fault?

Discipline. I know of D 1 coaches who do not conclude practice until a finite number of "perfect plays" are executed...no offside, no false start, no hold, 100% execution.

Interceptions: Someone is responsible for teaching the QB to work through his progression, have the mental clock tick, then get rid of it. Someone is responsible for teaching which arm to carry the ball in, when to cover the ball, etc.

When the players become responsible for their own actions? They ultimately get the penalty or give up the turnover.

When a player has a mental lapse or makes a mistake, that is not the coaches' fault. However, when most of the team shows a lack of discipline and the penalties become a recurring pattern, that shows a lack of preparation and teaching.

Woo.

Not that it really mattered, but there should have been a penalty on us. We had a receiver covered up on the left side who still ran a route.

I GAVE UP COUNTING THE MISTAKES IN THE SECOND HALF. EVERY WEEK, WE ARE THE MASTERS OF DISASTER. THE COACH IS ULTIMATELY RESPONSIBLE.
