It doesn't matter who you're playing when all you do is win. But start losing to Wyoming et al and you've got a recipe for major attendance freefall.

Hey boys - at the end of the day, it's just a football game. And don't forget that we didn't exactly set the world on fire in 2004 when we went 5-6, got blasted by Tech, Tulane and others. We bounced back with 2 10 win seasons so I'm confident that we can rebound. The 2004 season didn't seem to hurt our attendance in 2005/2006. Our offense just can't get it done....at least we have some youth to build on for the next couple years. I'd certainly rather struggle with young guys than seniors. Good luck at USM.

actually for a team that wins a Road Game every 1 1/2 years beating a BCS team on the road that just upset the No. 1 team in the Nation ain't bad. Better than losing to NTSU and Arkansas St on the road. What are we now under Bennett 4-28 on the road? That's a 12% road winning record-and look at the Pillow Cases and Marshmellows we play. Any win on the Road is a damn big win.

Congrats to the froggies - it appears that anyone in the NCAA (D1 or D2) can beat anyone else in the NCAA on any given day this year.*
*SMU not included in this offer.

Since you guys were talking about the game I thought some of you gave one and would want to know the final score. I know a lot of you wish us ill, but a lot of fans like me want both programs to be doing well so that we can play for the Iron Skillet in front of packed out crowds and have the game be a bigger deal than it is now.
If you guys hired Fran that would certainly spice up the rivalry.
