Collins is retired in Hattiesburg after years of serving in the Golden Eagle booster club.
I hear Myer lives in Plano, but I'm not sure.

I ran into Ron Meyer one Sunday at St Andrew UMC up in far north Dallas (Plano). Shook his hand and thanked him for the memories.
I assume he still lives in the Plano area. I don't go to that church anymore.

Is his middle initial L and his wife named Sylvia? If so, he still owns a house in Allen/Parker.

Why not, the Redskins rehired Joe Gibbs? Why not bring Meyer back? Give him a slush fund, ooops, forget that one, give him a good assistant who knows how to recruit, and let him get on the road. Meyer was very energetic and very personable. And he was creative. Anyone would could tell Eric Dickerson AND Craig James that they would start at SMU at the same position, and pull it off, is a genius.
