RUSHING:
1. Forte 349
2. Aldridge 225
3. Thomas 212
4. Arnold 159
5. Battle 138
6. Fletcher 109
7. Sam 106 + 88 receiving=194 TO
8. J. Thomas 100

RECEIVING:

1. Fitzgerald 327
2. Trae Johnson 158
3. Amendola 149
4. Dilliard 145
5. Johnson 139
6. Allison 138
7. Jackson 133
8. Quinn 132
9. Moss 120
10. Clay 108
11. Crabtree 106
12. Davis 100

Do you think this is NORMAL Pal to give up 20 over 100 yard performances in 20 games? ? How about 4 performances over 200 yards? Does this rekindle any lost memories of SMU getting torched by great individual performances? Do you actually watch SMU play Football. Does SMU have 1/3 of these types of performances during the last 2 years. This is a defense that is Physically mismatched against its quality opponents. By the way I believe each and every person on that list except maybe Davis from Tulane either was, is or most certainly going to be an All-Conference player in his conference.

Ok, Nobel Prize Nominee Stallion, the question is still out there. How would the grand pooba, Stallion rate the X's and O's performance of the Mustangs this year? Are we a team incapable of doing anything right beacuase of lackluster talent? And...is it tru you might be dating Jerry B?

I haven't really changed my prediction. I think SMU is about a 6-6 team talent wise with these players and this schedule. 2 OT losses and the incredible turn of events in Tulsa are the difference in sitting at 4-4 and being on a reasonable tract to a 6-6 record. Sometimes the ball bounces the wrong way. I'm a little disappointed that it took until about the 8th game in the season for a couple of young players to help the team. I continue to be disappointed with Bennett's ability to get much production or find playing time for younger players. Disappointed that SMU has had a complete meltdown at DB and with the pass rush. What I didn't really expect is for guys on our opponents to have such a good year. Thomas, Sam and Forte have improved as much as any players in CUSA-heck arguably the Nation. Those 3 almost single-handedly beat SMU in those 2 games. Arkansas St played some pretty good football early although I stated that would be a very tough game to win. My biggest reason SMU is not more competitive is because Bennett did not get the job done in recruiting rather than because of Coaching.

Thanks Stallion...I think that was well said. While I agree with most of it, I will still stick to my disappointment in the coaching. But, this is much more informative than "Model" talk.

Thanks again.
