Xtra Tickets for UCF

Postby BUS » Wed Nov 14, 2007 7:41 am

A friend of mine called last night and asked me for 4 tickets to this weekends game against UCF.

Does anyone going to the game have some extra tickets?

Please PM me if you do.
Thanks

Good luck, fella. I think they're sold out. UCF travels well, it's senior day, last game for the head coach and good weather is predicted. You will probably pay a premium from a scalper on the boulevard or a ticket service.

Early this season I was dealing with the guys in group sales. We were going to buy 1000 tickets to the North Texas game and then we would get use of the stadium for the bye week for kids games. As the week came for getting the stadium we kept getting remonders about what a great deal we had gotten and that the cost would go up next year. I politely informed them that if the price goes up next year then we better get better value. I then asked them how they planned on getting anyone to show up for the UCF game. Pointed out that the students were going to be gone and the high school playoffs start that day. The look of stunned silence on these guys face was priceless. They had no clue what was going on but te quick witted response was they weren't concerned about that game but concentrating on Tulane and Rice. I told them that they needed to come up with something or the place would be empty. I offered to sell it to our league if we got a t-shirt, hot dog and drink, or something special for buying more tickets this year. They did absolutely nothing so I would expect an attendance in the 7000 range.

Aren't they having the "have your own section day" promotion this Saturday?

I always try to go to someone else's section, otherwise I get lonely.

What section is reserved for MrMustang90210? I don't want to get splashed by the coke splatter because this game is not going to be pretty.

I just bought my ticket on-line for $150. Hear it's standing room only.

They told the band we're going to have to give up a few rows, too many tickets being sold.

I noticed they announced 13,902 for the Rice game but it looked like 6K-8K actually in attendance. I can't imagine the SMU crod being any bigger than last week and I doubt UCF will bring any more fans than Rice did. I've got a funny feeling this could be a close game.
