I heard the stills are working overtime in the Hills to get some cash flow for the transaction.

McNutt and some cash...not a bad deal, short term. I would say he can turn this thing by the third season, and is gone after five...

Prediction

2008: 4-7
2009: 5-6
2010: 7-4
2011: 7-4
2012: 6-5
2013 = gone to a Big 12 school....

SMU Record = 29 - 26
Bowl Record = 1-2

We then hire Brad Peveto.....

We play 12 game seasons now.

I think most SMU fans would take that after the last 20 years.

"Nutt's contract expires Dec. 31, 2012. If he's fired before then, the Razorback Foundation must pay him $329,644 per year for the remainder of his contract, according to his personal services and guaranty agreement.
The total would be $1,648,220 over the remaining five years of Nutt's contract if he's fired after this season and doesn't find another job.
Nutt’s contract also stipulates he would have to pay Arkansas $500,000 if he leaves the UA after this season for another job."

Nutt would be better than Bennett
but a long ways from "WOW!"
just don't see him as a fit here
seems like a hybrid Bennett
our next coach needs to be a super salesman
and i dont see this guy as being that
