If that is second tier OK. That was a killer scheduele at the end. A&M is bringing in the 3rd best recruitig class in the Big 12 behind UT and Oklahoma. The jury is out on Sherman. Byrne better have this right. Brian Kelley was pencilled in by most. Sherman will bring in a pro style O so this may not be as bad as it looks on first blush.

I am amazed that with their resources, tradition and conference this is the best they could do. Personally, I think Fran left such a bitter taste with them, they decided to go out and get one of their own despite their comments about a nationwide search. Maybe it will work out for them but I think they'll continue the Aggie tradition of being presented with a golden opportunity and turning it into a great big 'ol goat turd moment.

Fran got fired because he didn't do better. Also $1200 per e-mail was mysteriously made public. Wonder how that got leaked to a newspaper? Funny how these things happen when higher ups aren't happy with a coach. Sherman may be the guy. I don't know. Word is that Shawn Slocum will be the DC (now at Green Bay as a special teams coordinator. I guess A&M is trying to become GB south. No one thought much of Wade Phillips either when the genius Jerry Jones hired him. We'll see.
