Here's how the Big Boy$ handle it

Per today's DMN:

Arkansas has completed its investigation into McFadden and the Escalade.

They found nothing wrong.

They'll have no further comment on the matter.

So shove it.

Of course they didn't find anything wrong. Did you really think they would suspend their star before the Cotton Bowl?

I'm sure the Escalade came from the same store that Reggie Bush's family got the rental house. You know, the one that only BCS college players' relatives are allowed to shop in and that offers special alternative financing arrangements. Transactions from this store are usually not reported until after the final game of a particular players' collegiate career.

It is nice knowing that with the talent level of our athletes, we don't have to worry about anything like this!

In the true mode of Arkansas football please also note that even though yesterday was Broyles' last day, as a consultant he still has the same office, receives the same pay, and still has his ring kissed daily. The only difference is that now an outside source pays his salary rather than the school.

In an unrelated note, Jeff Long had to make an emergency visit to the athletic offices today for an adjustment to his puppet strings that had become tangled during the latest Arkansas coaching search.

Someone told me that this agent is the same one that had ties to Reggie Bush. Is that true?

His agent is Mike Conley, former All American track man from Arkansas . I do not know who handles Reggie Bush.
