LOL thankyaverymuch. I was in the process of listing the 20 (minimum) buildings UNT should raze, and the Mean Green board admin locked the topic. I'm guessing it was due to my comparison of our campus buildings to a fat chick with cool clothes or nice skin

On the metaphor... UNT's old, ugly buildings are the fat chick. Adding nice buildings and some decent landscaping are like dressing the fat chick up in nice clothes or giving her a facial or something. The point is, maybe the ones that were named to "Top 10 worst buildings in America", have been cited for possible health and/or structural problems, etc. should be REPLACED by something that isn't crappy, instead of spending money on more land to build new buildings that will take half (or more) of the students out of the crappy ones, and scraping the open sores of those old buildings while attempting to bring them up to any acceptable standard. Of my fellow UNT alums, very few were on the Master Plan Committee or even knew about most of the problems our buildings have, yet they chastise me for going off about our campus. Opinion vs. fact isn't really much of a battle, and I think some of you would agree. "I like it" vs. "Statistics, law, codes, etc." seems to be a bit of a mismatch to me.
Just another UNT poster fighting for recognition somewhere...
