Lifeblood in college FB. Hire a HC that is a proven recruiter, someone with ties to high school Tx coaches. A guy that has proven he can recruit Texas. A coach that has won in Texas. A coach that has turned around programs that are worse off than SMU's. Get the guy that has a point to prove. Hire FRAN Now

It is true that he could charge more for his newsletters at SMU than he could at atm.

Easy, Coach, we know you want the job. But winning at Froggy High with Tomlinson was one thing - years of mediocrity and boring offense at Aggie High are another. You're a tolerable fallback, but don't tout yourself as the second coming of Urban Meyer just yet, OK?
