I wonder if that means he left the stadium for the day (family emergency, etc.), is off the team, left school, etc.

Stallion's on the case!

If you look over on the recruitment board, there are some threads about this kid. Apparently he may be the JUCO QB Bennett mentioned bringing in for next year. I am sure Stallion knows more about this than I do, but this kid sounds like a player. He plays at Blinn JC (near College Station?) and sounds like he has some skills.

Rivals has him receiving offers from SMU, Baylor and I think Louisiana Laffeyette. He also was first team All Texas JC. Had a great year-something around a 65% passer.

I hope his "personal issues" are behind him and that Bobby Chase can bring him along with him to SMU!

Maybe he was attending a tryout for a rock band.

Or perhaps the IM flag football team he was on made it to the championship game, and he did not want to miss the big game.

You always gotta watch out for 20-year-old athletes who miss games for "personnel reasons" ...
