Some of those Profs hang around forever so don't let that get you down. Besides, they were young when they taught me. :D

He is no longer listed as being a faculty member so I suppose he has definitely retired. Actually I did see him at an engineering school fuction when they re-established the civil engineering undergrad department a few years ago.

Under 35 crowd. That way I am in your age bracket

Can it be the under 32 crowd? I think Orsini's performance has been as good as could be expected.

I am in the under 40 crowd(at least for most of another football season) and I was hoping to have this search behind me at his point. I have been a fan since the mid 70's and the damn Holiday Bowl replays still hurt. I just assume that things will get better and JJ will indeed make things better. I don't blame SO from shooting high. I wanted him to shoot for the stars and apparently he has brought us the head coach from a BCS bowl team. That is not too shabby. Which sounds better, Sugar Bowl or Gallery Furniture Texas Bowl Head Coach?

If you can remember SMU as a winning football program you are probably over 40 and as angry and bitter as some of us geezers. But also, you have hope as well, because we've seen the program when it was good and when it wasn't messed up by pointy headed professors and administrators. Here's to hope. Not expectations mind you (don't want to wake up jt from his hangover), merely hope that things will get better.
