Ron Meyer went 11-0 at UNLV. Similiar comparison but Jones was on a higher plane with Sugar Bowl /BCS bid.

That's right..in Meyer's short career at UNLV (less than 4 yrs.?), he was 11-0 the year before he showed up late for his SMU interview (thought it would be "cool"..),,,he was hot at that time. So..JJ would be the biggest "stud" (all relative, of course..) to come to SMU as the head dude. Any history on Meek or Smith? Thanks...long live James H. Stewart.
