June Jones arrived with Leigh Steinberg from Orange County yesterday just before 5:30pm on a chartered aircraft. No confirmation has been received on whether or not June was wearing a lei.

So the dinner meeting was just the boosters, not a meeting with JJ. That makes me feel a bit better.

Maybe he is meeting with the Cowboys today in anticipation that Atlanta may hire Garrett and the Cowboys want Jones for OC.

He only needs a short time more in the NFL to qualify for full retirement pension according to some posters on this board. I am older than him. That would mean a lot to me.

Don't know how much the NFL retirement pay's, however I think $ 2,000,000.00 per yr. for 5 yr.s should keep him out of a nursing home.

Tricky question. The NFL job isn't open and might not come open for a month. SMU has 2 mill on the table right now that likely goes away in a few days. While the NFL job has the potential to turn into something much bigger down the road, the college job offers more money right now.

JJ was still on campus at UH when that plane would have left. I like the Kona-Oakland-Love Field flight we've got going on right now.

Some of you are stupid. Yes he would rather coach in the NFL, if the situation is right. He won't coach for the puppet master Jerry Jones.

He's not here to interview for an NFL position for the Cowboys, there is a 0% chance of that. The Cowboys wouldn't hire a new OC right before the playoffs
