Isn't that the truth? I hope someday soon to forget what that feels like...

I just remember the shock when I found out most of my friends did not see a dramatic rise in their blood pressure at the end of games. I still think there is something wrong with them.

Maybe that is why I had to start taking blood pressure medicine this year....I thought it was my job... :)

LOL! We rarely were without alcohol in the stadium (hooray for frat boys with flasks in their Redwings), so I'm pretty sure mine was the dread of losing.

I was there in the Cotton Bowl days. There was a beer stand at the front gate and you could carry your beer back into the stadium. It just wasn't open in the 4th quarter. So, if we were up by 3 and you stayed until the end, you had to suffer through the whole 4th quarter, the Ponies blowing the lead at the last second, and the drive back to civilization (unless you had leftovers from your tailgate.)

I was fortunate enough to be around for the last couple of Ownby years, followed by the exile to the Cotton Bowl. Man those years sucked. But I remember the beer. Still helped to have the flask handy. You could always buy cokes mix with bourbon.
