Two night and day personalities. Carroll obviously loves college kids, creates a fun environment, and they love him for it.
I think "fun" is the last word that could possibly come to mind when describing Mike Martz. He is considered one of the bigger @$$holes in the NFL. I don't see how that personality works on a college campus, especially in a turnaround situation.
I don't know, the way we bent over and lost a number of games (was it heart, was it discipline, was it courage, was it coaching), i think we kind-of need an @$$hole who can whip these boys into shape.
