With everything that is going on now I'm glad TCU lost. If they had finished the season undefeated they probably would have ended up around 9 or 10 in the BCS. Then there is an outside chance that the Fiesta Bowl would have "taken one for the team" and invited them. Then the strongest argument of the non-BCS schools would be thrown out. The BCS would never have to think about the non-BCS schools again. For all eternity they could say "Yes you have access. Remember back in '03 when TCU played in the Fiesta Bowl?" Our only hope of improving the system would die with a BCS invitation to TCU. Getting into the BCS would be a victory this year for the non-BCS schools, but in the long run it would be our last victory. Frankly, I'd rather take my chances at winning the war.
