I still think it is a long shot. He is only been in Portland for one season. This would be his first full class. Crazier things have happened, I just don't see this. I do think Mouse Davis would be an interesting HC at Portland State (again).

Here is a link to a video that says Jerry's salary is only $165,000. That the team had less than 500 people coming to games the year before Jerry got there, and just what a huge uphill battle he is facing with almost no budget to mention. Oh, and the little fact that Jerry only coaches defense as a head coach......so it might be a long shot, but it sounds like it could be a shot!

Assuming this is a recent photo, at 75 Davis has to be the youngest-looking man in the world over 60.
