The Mustang Club will Kick Off the Morgan Campaign on Monday the 11th. The worker/callers will meet for snacks and a pep talk from the Mustang Club staff and the Co-Chairs.

Each worker will get a list of alumni, boosters, parents and supportive business people.

I hope that each of you is a Member and feel proud to support our improving efforts to become better. Better IS better.

If you are not, please send me a private message and I will write up the paperwork and have a bill sent to you.

If you know of someone that I or someone on my team could call for a donation, please send a PM too.

SMU is not perfect, but what SMU needs is more horses to pull the wagon, not people that bad mouth and pull the wagon into the ditch.

That is not a flame on constructive criticism.

Thank you for your support and assistance.

Primary Mustang Club fund raising is conducted through the Morgan Campaign Fund Drive, a six-week campaign coordinated by Mustang Club volunteers. The campaign is named for Coach "Sleepy" Morgan, SMU freshman football coach and head football recruiter in the 1950s and '60s. Football great Don Meredith was among his recruits. After his retirement in 1987, Morgan became a volunteer for the Mustang Club and was its top fund-raiser until his death in 1994 at age 82.

I am on a fund raising team with BUS. Contact either one of us by PM for information about how to become a Mustang Club member and support all Mustang athletics. It is a great time to be a Mustang, so Pony Up!

If I might also chime in....if you have an interest in being a volunteer for the Morgan Campaign, its not too late and we would love to have you! In addition to raising a lot of money for the athletic department, we plan to have a lot of fun!
