PonyPride wrote a great story two months ago about Ellison moving to DE, and Thompson has been talked about as a DE since the day he signed ... since Coach Jones doesn't use tight ends.

Personally, I hope he's redshirting and adding another 30 pounds with Coach Viloria.

I know this has absolutely nothing to do with tight ends or defensive ends but I don't feel like starting a whole new thread about something that may potentially not be true.
I hear Josh Robinson is no longer part of the SMU football team.

From what I hear, he wasn't able to get into summer school because athletics refused to pay for it and then he was quite simply kicked off the team...I mean, it doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out Josh has basically ONLY been trouble.
and none of that, he's still on the roster stuff because that roster is never 100% accurate. For crying out loud, apparently Josh Bryant, a WR, is 270lb. And Scott Alford no longer plays for the team. You get the idea...
