The cost of buying a win has met inflation. Too bad Arkansas won't play us anymore.

The Nov 1 game with Tulsa could prove to be expensive and painful for the beloved Razorbacks. Tulsa isn't a pushover and Arkansas has some gaps to fill. Even though this is Broyles deal, look for the Arkyland fans to blame the current AD, university president, head coach and sports writers for the Arkansas Dem Gazette for this boondoggle.

And correct me if I am wrong, but didn't ULAM beat Alabama in Tuscaloosa last year? Not exactly the traditional doormat Arkansas loves to schedule.

With Malzahn as the OC for TU this should be a very interesting game. I know he would love to knock them off. Normally I am anything but a TU fan but this could be a expensive lesson for the Pigs. Buying a win aint what it used to be.

Right you are TE. LA-Mon did put a lick on the great Tide. Saban must be feeling some heat after last year's disaster. Maybe Fran will go back and rescue them.

My advice wuld be to not bet on this one. Half of the stadium will be cheering for Malzahn. Tulsa has a good offense, great receivers and a yet to be proven but strong QB. Arkansas has lost a lot and is undergoing some vast changes on offense and defense just as we are. The main advantage for Arkansas is the Nov. 1 date. On paper, Arkansas should breeze but this could very easily be one of those "on any given day" games.

and some wonder why we can't put together a more attractive home schedule? This is why we need to be playing both TCU and UNT every year, rotating them so at least one non-conference home game is filled by a very "local" opponent that we can negotiate reasonable arrangements with.

I don't know the numbers, but I would guess we are on very unfavorable terms in our home/home series with TTech

Gotta hope we can find a way (soon) to fill Ford and Moody with paying customers
