Ran into No. 17 today. Asked him how his summer is going, etc., and about the summer workouts that just started. He said they're going well, guys seem to be in good shape, etc.

Told him a lot of guys looked like they're actually having fun at these workouts, and asked him if that was true.

"Yeah, they're fun," he said. "They've got to be fun, when you're about to win."

There are times when I cringe a little when Sanders gets interviewed, but only because he comes across as someone who doesn't pull any punches. He has always struck me as someone who means what he says, and because of that, his optimism is awesome.
