If he were a true Hawaiian he would have turned on himself and talked about how he was really bringing the Hawaii program down all these years when he signed with SMU.

Congrats, BUS! You deserve it! And Bergermeister is correct: NO SOCKS!

I just want to see if the eatery where you dine says "No shoes, no socks, no service" and follows thru on it. ;)

June Jones, Jimmy Frush and I went to lunch today at Cafe Pacific. The place is beautifull as was the server

JJ is a fun guy to hang out with, We talked about Golf and next years Letterman and M-Club tournaments. He really likes riding motorcycles out in the country.

Mark, he says hello and looks forward to seeing you next season. He is glad that SMU has fans all over the country. Spam was not on the menu but it is very popular in Hawaii. I did not wear socks. Jimmy made up for it and had the classic white shirt and red/blue tie. JJ wore a country club gold shirt.

We talked about electricity and I hope to get his business when he does purchase a home. Now that would be a marquee account.

FOOTBALL: He likes where he is starting with this team. He LOVES the recruiting attention that he is getting from good offensive linemen. He is hopeful that the 5 or 6 plays that turn a game go well and that will be the key to having a good season.
Good guys and grades are important to him. He knows that SMU looks at athletes as students and he wants to help make good, educated, young men.
We spoke a little about the gameday crowd and how that would grow when the wins come. Not if, but when the wins come.
Season ticket sales and Mustang Club figures are more than they have been since we opened Ford Stadium.

In closing, JJ is just as you might think, down to earth, genuine, smart and caring.

Thank you to each of you that joined the M-Club and made this meeting possible.
Peace be with you.
George
