Free Bus service from from the rail station to campus

Postby Texasscout96 » Thu Jul 24, 2008 1:49 am

Last year on the days of home games, there were shuttle buses that ran people from the Mockingbird light rail station over to campus, dropping off near Moody Coliseum.

Does anyone know if this shuttle service will be continued this season?

I just bought my season tickets in section 104 (as a Mustang Club member) and I'd really enjoy having this convenience.

Thanks.

It better cause that is where I plan to park. And if it doesn't, well, look out local neighborhoods.

They have done that for years. Why would they stop?

don't want to give them any ideas, but cost of fuel would be a handy excuse

ok good. I just wanted to make sure that my gameday plan will be ok. The last thing I want is to show up looking for that bus it never show.

I really dont see where else they would expect people to park. they dont even allow the students to stay parked on campus during the games.

I am not too worried about fuel costs stopping this service. The price of oil has been dropping over the past 2 weeks.

JJ and SO have a plan in place to drop the price of diesel and CNG just in time for SMU football games.
Just send 'da money.

tuition these days run about $50,000 when you had up all the fees. I highly doubt theyre running low on budget for that service.

Are they running for office? Do you think the run & shoot will work in Afghanistan?

I also plan to use the shuttle as we have in the past - makes things real easy. Can walk to the blvd and then the stadium.

I did get a notice from the mustang club offering parking in the new garage at the far end of the soccer field on gamedays for a seasonal fee. I didn't take it because I think the mockingbird shuttle is a better option.

It's not a bad walk from the DART station to Ford. Sometimes it's quicker than the bus.
