New members from January 7, 2007 through August 4, 2007 equals 138. New members during the same period in 2008 equals 254, or an 84% increase. If the number of butts in the seats increased by this same percentage, attendance would go from last year's average of 17,171 to 31,604. TCU's average last year was 30,018.

We're not gonna get there this year, but a 20K average would be a start. I spoke with the ticket office today and season tix are approaching 7K.

Very interesting statistic. I believe it's crunch time folks. We need to do whatever we can to add to the media/public frenzy surrounding the 2008 edition of Mustang football. So let's keep it up, and try to sign up another couple hundred PonyFans in the next few weeks prior to the season opener.
