Report of Chase Clement Injury

Postby Stallion » Sun Aug 10, 2008 1:51 pm

I haven't seen this in the media yet but there's report on the Houston Scout(free content) that he may have injured his thumb.

May be something to it as James Casey, the jack of all trades kid that literrally has played just about every position on the field, took the snaps at yesterday's Rice practice while Clement was sideline. Casey struggled it appears.

Judging by that first link, the Owl fans are a confident bunch. We really have hit rock bottom when a team picked to finish below us in the division has no doubt they will win.

I can't wait until we lose the Rodney Dangerfield stench hanging over this program.

The Rice fans wouldn't know good football if it hit them square in the face.

They would, however, know how to calculate the trajectory of said good football.

You know I just really don't care how cocky and confident Rice is....because it's Rice.

Yes, I know we've had trouble with them, especially down there. But every year, I look at the game and say its winnable. No different this year.

Oh, and Rice sucks and so does its stupid band.

It's true. Alex Lifeson does better reporting than scout.com.

All I know is, while I don't expect to win, I think it is possible.
