I've been at practice a few times, and Tyler is always around the ball. He might [deleted] off some teammates the way he's always reaching for it and trying to strip it, but that's the kind of persistence that forces turnovers. You look at him and you think he's too slow, or too short, but the kid made a bunch of plays last year. Sure, he got beat sometimes, too, but he made plays.
Have a great season, Tyler.

I grew up in Lone Oak, TX which is ten minutes from Emory and let me tell you Tyler was a heck of an athlete for Emory Rains. Hope he keeps it up and represents the 903!
Back off Warchild seriously.

he may be a heck of an athlete in 2A but he's still got a lot to prove in Division 1A. He played a lot of minutes and started most of the games down the stretch when SMU gave up 38, 43, 49, 55 points in consecutive weeks which is 46 points per game. Spread the blame around to everyone-I certainly do- but he deserves a fair share of the blame. A lot of big plays were not contained at the end of the year. We need much better play from our Safeties this year-and that's just spelling it out in plain English.

He also had two tackles for loss in his first three plays as a college player, and had 15 tackles in each of his first two games as a starter, after barely getting into games before injuries forced the coaches to play him. He might not look the part and might come from a small school, but he knows how to play the game.
Good luck, Tyler.
