i thought we were blaming you for that 1-11 record

That would be a good poll. I'd bet I get a lot of blame.

Perhaps "blame" is a bit too harsh. One might consider it more "due credit."

Oh come on jt...don't be so modest. There is no doubt that your no expectations attitude sunk the Ponies last year.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

from the looks of it, it might already start to be a long season if 2 freshman are 1 and 2 respectively on the depthchart

Well, yeah. He only threw 3 pick sixs last year. And then when it was our turn in OT against Tulane, he got sacked[/size] and fumbled -- game over. He and everybody else had a part in 2007.

He had to run for his life on 99% of the plays. Any QB would fumble or throw a few picks under those circumstances.

Some of you idiots only remember the turnovers and not the broken plays he turned into 40 yard gains.

Yea...right...

As bad as the defense was, Justin sure didn't help anything.

2,944 yards passing, 25 Passing Touchdowns, 699 yards Rushing(RUNNING FOR HIS LIFE YARDS), 3 Rushing (O-Line Breakdowns/RUNNING FOR HIS LIFE) Touchdowns

He wasn't even close to being perfect but I'd say (considering the horrible offensive line play, laughable defense, and obvious lack of quality coaching) he did his part. We won't even discuss the fact that he had only one legitimate receiver in E. Sanders and he had a down year(drops).

I'm sorry but when you have 18 interceptions in a season leading your team to a 1-11 record, it's kinda hard to remember all the "great" moments he had.

I blame him for not going to class and being suspended for spring practice.

Yeah, I think you can pretty squarely lay that at his feet.
