Willis is a senior at SMU, yet not as diciplined a player as an incoming freshman who obviously will buy in to a new coaches sytem without any second guessing.

Willis will be a JUNIOR at SMU this year if he stays...which I hope he does since he's on scholarship and a degree from The Hilltop will be of value to him someday.

I'm not a JW backer. I just state the facts and to be honest after watching the spring practice as well as the fall practices I wasn't that optomistic about this season anyway(JW, BM, BS or otherwise).

Things could change once the season begins but I don't see explosiveness on either side of the ball. Morestead is the only player I've seen with "Star" quality.

In fact they almost look bad news bearish but the guidance of JJ gives me hope.

Guess JJ is putting a lot of faith in the O-Line and his coaching schemes, because BLM is not known as a mobile QB, which ironically is one of JW's best traits, making things happen on the run.

He redshirted. This will be his fourth year to take classes at SMU. So while, he is considered a Jr. for eligibility purposes, he is a Sr. in the classroom, or at least, he should be.
