You [deleted] are ridiculous. This whole ridiculous thread has focused on the QB and it would not have mattered. Our (what you would normally call defense) couldn't come close to stopping Rice.

You could have had Matthew Stafford or Tim Tebow in there and it wouldn't have mattered.......we still would have lost by double digits.

I don't hear too many talking about all the dropped passes and the "questionable" TD that was called back.

The average 10 passes in high school is relevant because BLM seemed to get tired as the game wore on. I didn't think he looked all tha bad until the second half and then he made some very poor throws. He is young and will get better as the season progresses.

If you are really concerned about us doing anything this year, then WTF is going on with the defense.

Its one game......some of you need to get a grip. I am far from a sunshiner, but I'm not ready to pile on a respected coach and a freshman after 1 freakin game.

talk about a deer in the headlights look. i thought the poor kid was going to start crying next to JJ on the sideline between two different possessions. there was no leadership demonstrated on the field. it was void. not surprising, thats what happens with true freshman who cant really have built any respect or trust with their teammates yet. think about it.

I don't expect any of us expected a perfect season - just because we changed coaches. But you are right, Hoop Fan. It is a buy-in issue. First, the team has to buy-in on the coach before they can trust his decisions.

And how about Bartel playing the whole game the other night against the Vikings! Cool, huh!?

June will not stick with something out of pride like PB. He will do what's best for the players and for the team.
