Why would a safety only be worth 1 point? A TD is only worth 2 because that is the most of the offense could possibly score, but since scoring 2 is possible, a safety should be worth 2.

Also, what if you block the kick, recover it, run down field, and drop kick it in for a field goal? Is that worth 1, 2, or 3?

That would be a touchback, resulting in the other team's possesion on the 20yd line w/ a first down.
It tastes better when served from a Bowl (game)!

Martin, when he decides to get going North/South on the field (once in a blue FREAKIN moon) is really talented. Otherwise - he needs to sit down until he can decide to do so consistently. It makes me wonder if he's being coached to be tentative and "wait" for the right opening... I miss the fire he showed his first real season out.

If he would have just developed physically in to the talent he showed that first season, he would be a BIG star on the team... and all the other stuff would matter a bit less.

Sorry, had to vent - and my wife is tired of hearing it from me...
pffffffffffft - I see the ScrewUp Fairy has visited us again.

The new guy wasn't perfect last night either. I think better spotters would help.

The thing I recall from last year was any time a player that had a duplicate number, the wrong name would be called every time. Announcer or spotter, either way I wish someone in the press box would do a little research on our team.

Although I did like the new announcer, I do acknowledge the errors made and was apalled with his French pronunciation of Rufus Comier's name at the halftime celebration of the 1968 bowl team. It is not Cor'-me-yay.

I think we can both agree that this is the bigger problem.
