CSTV Resolution

Postby peruna81 » Mon Sep 08, 2008 1:53 pm

I read about the problems during the game, and the service ( or lack thereof )...anyone get relief ? Refund ?

Considered getting the deal, but am more than wary after the comments Saturday.

There have always been issues with All Access. I get just as frustrated as anyone but I do appreciate it since I am out of state. I especialy like it during basketball season since I can not get to those games.

When things happen like did this past weekend I would suggest calling and speaking with a CSR. I guess they are under new management but in the past I have always received reasons for the problems (not just excuses, sometimes it is SMU's problem), and if it was a problem with CSTV, I have always received an amount of a monthly refund even though I have an annual deal. I do not know if the new folks will be as pleasant but I must say that in the past for a company that had such an iffy product, they did excel in customer service. Hopefully some day they will get all the headaches and problems corrected and it will work as it should.

It would be worth your while to check your credit card statements if you subscribed or renewed an old account in the past few days. When I did so last Friday, I found that my card had been charged 4 times for a single subscription. When I spoke to a person in billing, I was unable to resolve the problem. The woman I spoke to kept telling me that my credit card had never been billed, even though I had my account pulled up online that very minute. Never did get a resolution. Will have to call the bank and tell them that the charges were unauthorized.
