.... I find myself rooting for the Irish against Michigan. Funny. I'm always one of those guys who says college football is better when ND is good, but by the same token, I usually enjoy seeing them lose.
I mean I like seeing them lose because they are good or overrated, blah, blah, blah. I guess it's more that it feels good to see them fall hard, and they really can't fall much farther.
But all is right with the world, I was happy to see Michigan get that pick. Hopefully they'll drive and score.

Can't believe the Wolverines didn't stick one into the end zone.

Notre Dame (and Michigan) may both "suck" right now (that term is "relative") but they still manage to pack 80k and 100k fans, respectively, into their stadiums...and that generally means they won't suck for long.
I just want to live long enough to see Ford packed with SRO crowds (meaning people on the south end zone lawn). Can't imagine we will EVER have the need to complete the bowl and expand to 45k seats.

Me too. 03Mustang wrote:The day I pull for Notre Dame the temperature in Hell will be 28 degrees
Deal. There was a time though that I would have never rooted for the Yankees, I used to love the Sox. Now the Sox have made me Yankee fans when they play each other.

I will always hate ND and hope that USC squashes them every time.
The fact that they are on NBC every Sat is VERY annoying - can't believe they renew that contract. Disgusting.

Hahahaha. Nice.
I should note that the Sox fans are really what turned me off. I should also note that I used to love Boston sports. But now? I hate the city of Boston professional sport franchises. I hate 'em!
(I still root for BC, though.)
