Does anybody think..that if BLM does not improve this year, and still struggles during the spring that maybe RS Freshman Braden Smith could step up in 09 since Padron will be a true fresh and nobody will want to start another one?
The whole bash the freshman QB routine is really getting old on this board.
The Run N Shoot requires our WR's to understand how to read the defense, run routes, etc.. and from what I saw against Tech and TCU, our receivers had a difficult time getting open and in some cases were running duplicate routes in the same area. Many times BLM had no where to go with the ball. The receivers should share a lot of the blame. Not to mention dropped balls, fumbles, etc... DeMyron Martin hits a hole like constipation from a corn hole and there is no need to respect our run. O-Line has shown improvement, but they have had some really dumb penalties......especially inside when we are driving. Defense-----no need to comment This is a team effort and the QB often gets way too much credit when we win and way too much blame when we lose. BLM has certainly not played well either and when he makes a mistake it is usually one that results in points the other way which can't continue. This team is not talented on all sides of the ball, but continuing to pick on this frosh QB is not fair because the rest of the team shares a lot of the blame. You pukes need to grow up and quit whining b/c this will take some time. Meanwhile, the boulevard is turning into a phenomenal venue.......tons of hot @#$@ lots of drinking and good weather. Losing is not fun, let's see how the season runs its course.
NO KIDDING!!
It really is coming along nicely! It tastes better when served from a Bowl (game)!
Re: Does anybody think..
09 is too far away to be thinking about who the starter is. but if BLM can survive the whole year as starter, i dont see why he wouldnt be the starter going into spring ball.
