I concur with SoCal Pony, I've always stated it's MUCH easier to compete with big schools on the hard court and actually win at the highest level. March Madness is fair, BCS is BS.
I’m not whining. I’m just trying to make the point that if we are to lower our expectations then I think the athletic department should lower their expectations as well. They are always overselling. (my fault for buying)!
If our athletic department was a business, how long do you think this company would be around? I can’t think of a company off hand that would last 20 years in the red!
By the way, I do support your basketball argument. Maybe it’s time to refocus our efforts…
