I obviously was making a joke. I think more than 37 will be there. My tailgate alone will be most of that. It was more of a comment on all of the overall attendance and student attendance talk that has been going on. I have never understood the lack of support from the student body. I started SMU in '91 and can count on one hand the number of games I have missed.

BTW, estimating 37,000 for this game wouldn't be optimism. It would be a severe disconnect with reality. It would also be nice to see the Stars go undefeated for the rest of the season, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Overall total will be close to the SWT game + 1,000 for FCA and Dandy Don devotees. How much pub is Dandy Don's number retiring getting? My dad in Lufkin knew about it, so it seems to be getting some attention.
