Macho Man Randy Savage

Postby Pony94 » Sat Oct 18, 2008 11:20 pm

Anyone else believe "OH YEAH" is none other than Macho Man Randy Savage? What in the holy he77 is wrong with our game presentation. Anyone venture out to the concourse in the 3rd quarter? It sounded like some rat had chewed on the speaker wire...so so pathetic.

I did, and all the tvs were tuned on to Texas - Mizzou. I was embarassed.

Not to ruffle any feathers, but why was Don Meredith in a suite when we were retiring his jersey? Is something wrong with him (I hope not), or is that the way the brass decided to do that?

Secondly, why wasn't a flag raised, indicating that SMU was retiring his jersey?

Overall, I was disappointed in the ceremony. I am glad he was there, and that SMU did that, but overall, I felt it was lacking.

Top 25? I think not. That's just my opinion though.

I seem to recall reading some time ago that he had suffered a stroke. Perhaps that had something to do with it.
