USC and Oregon State would be co-champions since OSU lost to Stanford. Both would have one loss in conference but OSU goes to Rose Bowl because of head to head win!
PLAY A CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
It's ashame OU can't play Texas in the Big 12 champ game. Those two are the best teams in the conference and I'm not sure UT would win again.
GO MUSTANGS!
FIGHT ON!

It's still hard to believe they won a little over a week ago.

Tulsa gets a shot at BSC Arkansas this weekend so that will be a test. I wonder how Bennett is enjoying being back with a top 25 team? TCU is about as good as LSU? Something must be wrong down in the bayou.

Who has Missou beaten? Or Kansas for that matter?

Actually this weekend is the much anticipated Houston Nutt (Ole Miss)/Arkansas match up. Malzahn and Tulsa are on November the 8th I think. The Tulsa game is Arkansas' homecoming. I will love it if Tulsa ruins their parades.

that OU defense is not the same as it was in the first half of that game. OU just isnt as good as they were 2 weeks ago now.

yes but the sad thing is only 1 non bcs team ranked in the top 12 or 16 gets a bcs bid
Only 1 gets a guaranteed bid. The other at large spots can still be filled by non-bcs, should the bowls choose them. Not bloody likely I'll admit, but like always, I'll hope this rule comes back and bites the BCS in the posterior.

Charleston Pony wrote:the really interesting thing about this poll is TCU's ranking. I assume that if they win out, they could become the 1st team from a non-BCS conference to qualify for a BCS bowl game despite having lost a game. Of course, Boise would have to lose a game for that to happen.
For those who doubted TCU's move to the MWC...that is looking like a pretty strong conference right now. If they were to expand to 10 teams and add Boise St, they could make a pretty strong argument for a seat at the BCS table.
TCU would jump Boise if both teams win out. BSU's toughest game is this week against SJSU while TCU will play Top 10 Utah in Nov. Basically on their tail now.

For me.... barely alive.... for you, well you know. ThadFilms wrote:J.T.supporta wrote:ThadFilms wrote:jkflamebo wrote:J.T.supporta wrote:im glad to see the computers arent showing too much love to SC unlike the harris and usatoday poll
USC wins it all this year
I think HB Pony Dad will agree to that..... but man, that display by Tejas last night was somethin' else.
if Penn State gets past OSU then it will be another Big East school in the Championship game. i'd love to see joepa go out with a NT. as for USC, i see them losing again. they just arent that great, they played an inferior WSU team. they got a tough one at Arizona and then need to beat probably the toughest part of the schedule
JoePa can have this one if we can get '82 back.... otherwise may the best team win. PLAYOFFS!!!! Sigh.
I wasn't as harsh as JT, but the sentiment is there.

I think as punishment for playing so poorly against TCU, the entire SMU football team should write TCU an apology letter for being a poor opponent and being a strength of schedule hindrance in their pursuit of the BCS. I'm halfway serious.

ok thats what i meant then. even if Utah & Boise State goes undefeated, i dont see both them getting in. Making another ruckus in the BCS mess
