Did anyone catch the UH/Marshall game Tuesday night? Patrick Edwards, freshman receiver for the Cougars who leads the team in yards, was looking over his shoulder for a pass in the end zone, and ran into a metal cart loaded with band equipment. It shattered his leg, and he had to have a metal rod inserted into his leg.
This link will show you the video. It's brutal.

I can't believe that (a) some college educated person or persons would leave a metal cart that close to the field of play - especially the end zone, and (b) none of the officials noticed that these carts could be a danger to anyone. I just hope the kid can play again.
