I think you mean 27-21 Notre Dame. Can't believe what I'm watching. Navy down 27-14 with about 3 minutes to go. Navy recovers two onside kicks and they've got good field position too! Come on Navy.

ND only gets an automatic BCS Bowl if they win 8 games. So why would the SUGAR pick them?

Assuming ND beats Syracuse but loses to USC, the Gator Bowl will probably invite them. The Gator Bowl has never invited a 7-5 team before, but hey its ND and they need healthy ticket sales.
