he has potential to have a decent career in the NFL but he needs to stay for another year at UT. he isnt a traditional pocket passer and his mechanics arent the best. the things he did in last nights game were amazing but up against an NFL D he would have thrown pics on the plays he made scrambles on and found receivers. plus he holds the ball a little to long waiting for someone to get open
Sorry, that just made me laugh

Colt is going nowhere, next.....
he's a nice player and has vastly improved this year. I don't think he's thrown too many INT's it seems like.

I think Colt should be the front runner for the heisman, but the NFL is not likely in his future.
It tastes better when served from a Bowl (game)!

UT's site lists him at 6'3" ... having seen both in person, if he's 6'3" then Vince Young is about 7'5".

I saw him in the training room a few weeks ago, I would be hard pressed to say he's 6 ft 1...

I dont want to argue about this point, because its really silly. But I will ask you, in all honesty, what do you consider big? He's about as 6'3 as Steve Nash. And for the record, I too am basing this on actual observations. Just because him and his roomate BFF Shipley roll their uni shoulders up to display their guns doesnt mean that Colt is a big guy.

I'm not going to even address the "he's fast" comment. Compared to whom? Please remember we are talking about his NFL prospects. Aside from this salient point, I dont think even Mack Brown would call him "fast".
Wait, i guess i just did address the comment. My apologies. I like turtles.

He supposedly runs a 4.5 in the 40 so I would call him fast. And he's over 200 lbs. How big is Drew Brees? Not very-

Please attribute that 40 time somewhere please. I didnt know they started timing qb's in their 40's at UT. And once again, 4.5 is not "fast" by definition in the NFL. So he's going to make his living being fast? Maybe he can be the next Eric Crouch or Scott Frost...
A buck over 200lbs is not big in the NCAA's, much less the NFL. I was waiting for the Drew Brees comment. For every one of him, there's about 50 qb's at 6'4, 230. Try again. You going to mention Spudd Webb now as well in the NBA?

I heard about his 40 time on a national tv game so I guess they were wrong. They actually said his time in the forty was 4.4. The last time I looked Brees never had a completion rate like Colt has had this year[ with few ints].
