Gosh almighty how right you are. To this day, nothing in my incredibly full life come close to that bus ride from Austin to Dallas in 1980. To this day I can't remember the locker room experience. But I remember the ride home. My wife simple can't understand it. And to be truthful neither can I. But oh lord, what a marvelous feeling. And to walk out of Columbus with a tie felt like kissing my sister at the time. But with age, it is as fine as any wine.

Lord, thank you for allowing me to experience joys beyond joys and please allow other Mustang faithful and players to experience what I have. One simply can't explain the feelings even 30 years later.

And if any current player is reading, work hard. Work beyond hard and then go a bit further. The reward is beyond one's wildest imagination.
