James and the Holiday Bowl

Craig is the color commentator for this year's Holiday Bowl. I do hope they show some clips from the 1980 game when James was a co MP. It is the best publicity we can hope for during the bowl season.

I will say OSU seems to be doing their best to lose this game. OSU should be killing Oregon.

They sure did have some clips. Glad they were of James running.

Getting sick of all those BYU clips showing the last play of the game.

James kept [deleted] about the lack of turf in San Diego. He had a point. Both teams had trouble adjusting this year. It was an interesting game BTW. Oregon has some athletes on their offensive line.

There was no turf in the middle of the field back in 1980. Basically, they painted the few blades of grass green. It did look good on TV though. But, the dirt was firm an footing wasn't an issue in 1980.
