Rice-10 wins
Tulsa-11 wins
TCU-11 wins

This gives me great hope, if these guy's can do this, SMU certainly can!

The 11 win teams are legit. Rice is a baby at this. They lost their OC and WR coaches and lost Dillard, Clement and Casey. They have others coming in but haven't made the infrastructure investments that TCU, Tulsa and SMU have.

You're right that the fact that those three can get 10+ wins is a reason for optimism. SMU has invested the $$ and now is awaiting the payoff. It seems like SMU needs a stout DC to match what some of the other successful teams have.

The trivia question during the GMAC Bowl last night pointed out that the state of Texas has the most bowl winners this season...so everyone around us is getting it done...I want to join in the fun!
